No matter how wrapped up I was with other things, there’s no way I could go a year without generating some new ideas. Lots of new ideas! And as exciting as they are, we can't do them all. Not yet anyway. Combine that with the ideas we already had in development and you see the problem. That’s why we need help! We need readers and users to tell us what they’re most excited for. I’ve narrowed it down to the four ideas I think would work best for us right now. So here’s a rundown of the top contenders:
Leaf Cutters: An in depth strategy game where players manage a growing colony of leaf cutter ants. Leaf Cutters lead a unique life, as one of the only other species on the planet to farm for food. This game includes some great mechanics including action drafting, worker placement, and hidden objectives. Players will have to stockpile food, compete for resources on the board, defend their colony, and manage a growing nest.

Postal Valley: Postal Valley is a simple but ruthless game where players race to deliver mail to towns in the wild west. But in this lawless valley a friendly competition can quickly become fierce with traps, blockades, and bandits sent to slow down opponents. This interactive game includes simple but meaningful mechanics including dice drafting, pick up and delivery, and take that.

Fire Team: Our first foray into cooperative gaming, Fire Team has players taking on the role of Wildland firefighters working together to manage an out of control blaze and protect important structures. Players will have to battle with the weather, operate with limited resources, and coordinate despite restricted communication. The game will come with different scenarios and varying difficulty to keep you coming back for more.

Nevada Gold: Nevada gold places players at the helm of a small mining town in Nevada during the gold rush. Players compete to make their town the most attractive to incoming travelers, gather the highest population, and mine the most gold. This game reimplements familiar mechanics such as worker placement in innovative ways, with multiple types of workers and a drafting system that really makes you think.
