Enjoy a unique combination of solo strategy and team work in this new cooperative deck building game! Work together to overcome the challenges of a hostile planet as you battle aliens, salvage crashed ships, and improvise your way out of each situation. No more worrying about one player taking the lead and sucking the fun out of cooperative gaming. In Escape from Atalix players use their cards to simultaneously create an action queue for their turn, meaning you plan out your turn independent of other players. Groups will still need to plan out their general strategy but specific actions lie solely in your hands.

Escape from Atalix is a narrative driven game with multiple paths to victory, allowing players to write their own story. The game presents players with real, impactful choices that will shape the course of the game including game objectives, player strategies, and difficulty. Players will have to adapt to changes and create plans in real time in order to survive and eventually Escape from Atalix.

What's the game about?
Cooperative Deck Building
The core mechanic of Escape From Atalix is cooperative deckbuilding. Each player will manage a growing deck of cards which they will use to survive on the planet's surface, harvest resources, conduct research, and face the hostile environment. This creates a unique combination where individual strategy is just as important as teamwork!

Each round players start at their crashed ship and venture out into the world. Players can continue taking turns until they run out of cards or until they pass. Players can spend resources to gain new cards in order to venture further into the untamed landscape.

Many cards also contain extra abilities that help players manage their hand and deck and create synergies between cards. Cards also grow more powerful as players' understanding of the planet increases.
Changing Objectives
Players work together to complete projects in order to survive and escape. The projects required to win will depend on the decisions players make as the game progresses. Each project has its own set of required resources and additional challenges that will keep players guessing.
Challenging Encounters
As players explore the world of Atalix they will encounter many things for which they are unprepared. These challenges come in the form of encounter cards. Encounter cards pit players against the worst Atalix has to offer including hostile aliens, equipment anomalies, and toxic atmospheres.

Players will have to adapt their decks and their strategies in order to complete the required encounters before time runs out!
